Quick Guide: Save color ink by fixing driver settings

Save color supplies (and money!) by changing your printer to use black toner or ink instead of color by default. You can still select color when you need it but will save when you quick-print pages where color is not needed. When you install printer drivers they always default to “Auto” color printing. This means that if you don’t specifically go into the printers’ settings and change it to “Black and White” you will use the more expensive color supplies (if there is any color on the page). This video shows how to quickly and easily change your default to black and white on a windows 10 PC. You can use these same steps to change other defaults such as automatic double-sided printing (Duplex), default paper tray and much more.
